Built in the 1950s and renovated in 2019, this building has been home to Huckleberry House’s transitional living program since 1991. The 20 furnished units provide safe, supportive housing for teens committed to building independent lives. While living here, residents gain essential skills—like budgeting, cooking, and parenting—and receive counseling as they work toward education and employment goals.

The young people living on Jefferson Avenue aren’t looking for a temporary escape—they’re determined to do the hard work it takes to become self-sufficient and lead happy, productive lives.
